Listen I understand Poile saying “he has to earn his spot” to try and get the absolute cheapest deal possible for hopefully a mid range deal but good grief the dudes gonna start if he signs! He isn’t going to be the 7th D-Man and he ain’t goin’ back to Milwaukee any reasonably knowledgeable Preds fan knows that. I would like to see him sign a sweetheart deal as much as the next guy (or gal) but he can’t risk undervaluing talent or he will lose him!
