College hockey is coming to Nashville!
According to the 2010-11 season schedule for the University of Alabama-Huntsville, they'll play a weekend set Friday & Saturday January 14-15, 2011 against Merrimack at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The Preds play Chicago at home on the 15th, so the UAH game will be in the afternoon.
It's also worth noting that Blake Geoffrion has two brothers who will play for the UAH Chargers this season. Sebastian is a sophomore forward, and Brice is an incoming freshman.

how i got hooked
My 1 semester at UAH was how I got hooked on hockey. School experience was horrible, but it was worth it to get me turned on to the coolest game on earth

Can’t wait to see my home town team on the big boys ice. Gonna be a thrill for them I’m sure too.
Hopefully they’ll bring the pep band along since these will be a “home” games. Looking forward to hearing Sweet Home Alabama rockin the Bridge!!
