Sullivan O' Sullivan
There are some in the hockey realm who believe the Preds will pick up Patrick O'Sullivan in the next few days. The interesting thing about O'Sullivan is that he's never been on a team with a winning record or made the playoffs or were anywhere near making the playoffs! In the only full season he has played he notched 53 points (LA, 07-08). He will make $2.95 m this year which isn't too bad for a player who is an offensive talent. If we do indeed get him (as I truly Do think we will). How would you slot him in? He is versitale as a Center/Left Winger and is utilized on the power play and penalty kill. Personally I am very excited for the prospect of seeing this guy in a Preds uni. This won't effect the Hornqvist signing as he is a RW.
Any ways I have this idea! We already have a Sullivan so if we get O'Sullivan they might hookup on a line or a 2 on 1 situation, right? So if they one of them gets a goal assisted by the other we could play the Police song "Sending Out an S.O.S."!

If this is an entry into the OtF auditions, please let me know so that I can keep track of the entries. Otherwise, this one won’t be counted.
On the Forecheck: preaching the Predators' gospel to the unwashed masses.
Trotz
will go out of his mind if forced to take another defensively deficient player. aint gonna happen anyway. maybe if he was on the cheap like kostitsyn and anderson, but not at that price.
To be fair, what you’re looking at is his plus/minus. And if you’d check in 06-07 the LA Kings were the 28th worst team in the NHL. In 07-08 they were the worst and in 08-09 he got traded from the 26th worst team to the 21st worst team. And last year he played for the dead last Edmonton Oilers. It’s not a 1 on 1 game, he played on teams that were obviously bad and had baaad goalies too! Plus/minus can be a deceiving statistic and can not be the measuring stick of how good or bad an individual player is.
