Graduated from Michigan State two years ago. Bounced around the minors till finding a home last season in Milwaukee. Likely doesn’t fit into the long-term plans in the organization, but was a bright spot for the Ads last season and who knows what the future holds.
Played on all four lines for Lambert last season in a variety of roles as the lineup was continuously juggled throughout the season. Known for being a defensively responsible forward with a great work ethic. I’ve never actually seen him play outside of watching some Ads games last year on the computer, but even then I was watching our guys with two-way contracts more than anything else.
Is in his first camp with the Preds this season. Someone to keep an eye on this week and get a feeling for him. Lambert and Herbers (who he played for in the ECHL) really like Mueller…

Latta and Calla fight
Calla replaced Clackson in the lineup today and has dropped the gloves with Latta. Hoping to get more details on the action in the intermissions. Right now there aren’t that many updates as compared to yesterday…

Latta’s known for mixing it up in juniors, if I recall correctly. He probably held his own better than Ryan Flynn.

He needed a few stitches and is being held out of today’s game for “precautionary reasons”. I imagine he’ll skate with the veterans when everyone hits the ice on Saturday.

I’d be surprised if he’s out there on Saturday. He’s going to need to meet baseline testing standards before he’s cleared to play again…

I would’ve liked to see them take on a team with good prospects such as the Blues. The Panthers have some quality players like Gudbranson and Markstrom, but their top-to-bottom depth doesn’t even come close to matching ours.
