Thanks everyone for your input and stories.  I am heading up to Nashville this week to do more research and interview a reporter who covered the Dixie Flyers back in the day (Many, many thanks to NashCub for this one!). Fortunately, I lucked into some of those free tickets for Thursday night, too, so not only do I get to research but I will take in some preseason hockey and PredsFest - and be totally worthless at work on Friday since I have to drive the 3 hours back to Birmingham after the game.  The sacrifices we make in the name of research.  Haha.
