Nashville Predators & Fox Sports TN announce 60-game TV schedule

The Nashville Predators announced today that Fox Sports TN will broadcast 60 games this season (up from 55 last year), and in a very positive development, all 60 will be in HD (compared to 30). It looks like the broadcast team remains intact, with Pete Weber & Terry Crisp providing the call, and Mark Howard reporting rinkside.

The National Hockey League's Nashville Predators and the team's regional television partner FOX Sports Tennessee announced today that the network will televise 60 Nashville Predators' regular-season games during the 2010-2011 NHL season, and for the first time ever, all games are scheduled to be televised in high definition (HD) and will include a LEXUS LIVE post-game show. See attached for the complete FOX Sports Tennessee Predators' telecast schedule.

The telecast schedule includes 36 of 41 road games and 24 home contests from Bridgestone Arena.  Three of the 60 scheduled games will be televised on FOX Sports Tennessee's sister network SportSouth.  Predators' telecasts will reach cable and satellite households across Tennessee, Kentucky and northern portions of Alabama and Mississippi.

"This season, FOX Sports Tennessee and its sister network SportSouth will broadcast the most games in franchise history with all games scheduled for high definition," Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Office Chris Parker said. "Sixty televised games is our most ever, which means fans can now catch all the hard-hitting action and excitement of Nashville Predators hockey in crystal clear HD."

Coverage begins with the Predators' regular-season opener on October 9 against the Anaheim Ducks (7 p.m. CT).  Other highlights from FOX Sports Tennessee's 2010-11 telecast schedule include six games against the Central Division-rival Detroit Red Wings and six games against the Predators' 2010 first-round playoff opponent and defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks. Eighteen of the club's final 19 regular-season games throughout March and April will also be televised by FOX Sports Tennessee.

The FOX Sports Tennessee broadcast duo of play-by-play announcer Pete Weber and analyst Terry Crisp enter their thirteenth season calling Predators' action.  In addition to game telecasts, Weber and Crisp will co-host LEXUS LIVE extended post-game coverage on FOX Sports Tennessee. Returning for his third season is Mark Howard, rinkside reporter for all Predators home games. Joining Pete Weber and Terry Crisp on the broadcast, Howard provides player and coach interviews during pre- and post-game coverage as well as intermissions.
