I completely agree with you. However, I think you should have said Kostitsyn just to stick it to Habs fans. Haha. I agree though, I would give Suter the MVP

Spot on, Dirk. Even after the Olympics Suter remains one of the best kept secrets in hockey. Rafalski got all the accolades, but we all know that Suter was the engine that pulled that train…just ask Weber, he knows.
Shout-out to our Nordic Too-Tall Goalie tandem…they get the secondary vote for sure.

I (also) agree. Tune everything else out and solely watch Suter on a couple of shifts. Always in control, never panics, head always up, seems a step ahead of what’s happening on the ice. I guarantee there are youth hockey coaches using him as the model of a perfect defenseman.
