SOS. nice and insightful article regarding trotz’s handling of arad. however, just couldnt resist the alure of throwing in the relocation reference in the end. when was the last time relocation seemed to be an issue here? what a tool.
Since Radulov left three seasons ago, the Nashville Predators have been the center of relocation talks on a regular basis. In fact, a simple search shows this. Since the article is discussing the entire time since his departure, I’d say that rumors of relocation would be relevant.
when was the last time relocation seemed to be an issue here?
You might note that I specifically didn’t say relocation was an issue. The sentence, which you either didn’t finish, or didn’t comprehend, reads: That’s the kind of success that could have taken Nashville from constant rumors of relocation to becoming one of the NHL’s showcase franchises.
And just within the last year, relocation has 52,000 results on google, so the rumors have persisted into 2010.
Perhaps you’d benefit from reading what was written, rather than what you perceive was written.

there are no rumors of relocation anywhere in the recent past. google will p/u the mention of it and is no reflection of reality. your article is a good example. it would show up on google yet even you now admit it isnt an issue. my question is why is it pertinent to the piece now. 2 years ago i understand, but not now.

Replacing “nashville predators” with “detroit red wings” gave me a result total of 54,300 so I would not consider that defintive, unless a lot of people have been discussing detroit moving the last year as well.

This is why SB Nation is so valuable
An insightful analysis from Derek Zona in “The Copper and Blue” elicits well reasoned responses from “On the Forecheck” readers TitanBearPredFan and DonBorvio. Thanks to all.

Give the Oilers a few years and they could be scary good.

This will be my final comment regarding Radulov:
It is a simple song dedication. This one’s going out to Alex; stay rad, buddy. Others, listen at your own risk.
