Can we freak out Perry on Saturday?

My daughter had a great idea, but she's been so swamped with homework that she hasn't managed to write it up here at OtF. Time's getting short, so I'm doing it for her:

Remember how Corey Perry was seemingly weirded out by gnomes during the playoffs last year? How perfect is the timing that we're playing them this Saturday, just before Halloween? I wonder how many people we can get to dress as gnomes and stand around the shoot-twice end during warm-ups? All it would really take is red pointy hats and fake beards.

Anyone in?

I think if everyone turns the shea o lantern into a paper mask. We could freak out Perry with Shea’s playoff beard and lazer eyes, which scare everyone.

Another great idea. Have you tried printing them out? If they were printed on card stock, they’d be thick enough; just wonder whether the resolution would be good if printed out on standard-size paper.

I printed one out, it’s pretty good. The carving I did is pretty large and the picture above is actually shrunken quite abit, so getting a good pick on full paper is fine. I think the front office should print 17,000 of these and hand them out on saturday to everyone.

That would be AMAZING. Or, you could just print a ton of them and leave them outside of the arena, at the front doors. People would absolutely pick them up!

I really, really wanted to do it. But there hasn’t been much response to this post. I think this game was the perfect time for it, since it’s right before Halloween, but maybe we can do it for another game. We’ve looked and looked and can’t even find red pointy hats at Party City, etc.

My wife is dressing up as the infamous Preds gnome “Pucky Pred”. If you haven’t met Pucky Pred, he sits in section 309 and he has his own Facebook page. Go ahead and friend him. Scare the quackers out of ole Corey.
