Nashville Predators send Ryan Thang back to Milwaukee

Stay connected for news and updates

After making his NHL debut last night against Chicago, Nashville Predators winger Ryan Thang has been sent back to the Milwaukee Admirals, as the team announced on Twitter moments ago:

Ryan Thang has been reassigned to the Admirals. He drove back to Milwaukee following last night's game.

In 8:32 of action last night, Thang acquitted himself well, at least giving us hours and hours of entertainment spinning his name into all manner of horrible puns. Presumably this move bodes well for Sergei Kostitsyn to suit up again when the Preds play at Phoenix on Thursday.

Nick Spaling, who was placed on Injured Reserve retroactive to Saturday's game against Anaheim, must be out for a minimum of 7 days. Mike Fisher, despite not traveling with the team to Chicago, was not placed on IR, so he could conceivably be available for the Coyotes game as well.
