Sounds like Barry Trotz "guest commented" for you on this one:
Sully hasn’t scored yet for the Penguins, but it sounds like he’s playing pretty well.

Sully’s of ZERO use, except for his ability to score. He does not have that ability any more. One word for ya:

WASHED UP

Retire Sully. Come back to Nashville and be our PR guy. Or be a guest commentator with Crispy. Or take Stu Grimson’s spot on the radio. Let it go bro…..

Did you see this on his "review"?
But the guy seemingly couldn’t score a goal on a breakaway with an empty net.

I chuckled.

LOL

I did go and read that. Sounds like him last year…all the way up to the Ducks series. He pulled a Legwand in the Ducks series.

Right under that 5-1 loss from opening night. Or somewhere near that 6-2 loss to close out last season. Too bad y’all didn’t make the playoffs….

Awwww don’t be rough on Sully. I miss him. Would love to see him retire and come back as some form of coach for us.

Geez, the Ducks are bad on defense.

Watching that 3rd period tonight of the Ducks/Caps game gave me flashbacks of game 5 of our playoff series against them. They have no idea who to pick up or where to go in their Dzone. Gonna be a long season for them unless Hiller finds his pre-vertigo form.

by Grizzledbear on Nov 2, 2011 12:26 AM EDT via mobile reply actions

it was a great game for ole Joel Wardo though, 1G 1A, +3
I miss Ward, but I’m glad he’s getting a chance to play and get payed good for it. Now that he has 3G 3A he’s leading Semin’s 2G 4A and is +7 so far for the season.

Ward looked like a little kid when they tied it up late in the 3rd period! Love the joy he has playing the game.

He also looked like a little kid when Halischuk potted the ot game winner in Vancouver during game 2 of the playoffs last season. I remember seeing him jump up and down on the bench. haha

Hee hee. The Ducks lost again. :)

Oh. But the Caps won. :(

I liked it.

Caps third line is trouble. Ward had a nice game, brought them back, really. … Ducks got awful goaltending last night. Hey, what’s gotten into Beauchemin? Hitting like a truck this year.

by el pucko on Nov 2, 2011 8:12 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions

Beauchemin is a nasty guy to play against when in a Ducks jersey…..didn’t carry over in his time in Toronto though.

Ward and Brouwer add that line depth the Caps were missing last season. I may have under sold them in my season predictions.

Here's to seeing Fisher, Erat, Kostitsyn, and Cube in the same game!

(I wrote cube because I can’t spell his real name, but somehow I can spell “Kostitsyn”)

At least on Kostitsyn, I can sound it out and get close. With Bou— Buoi— Bull— Cube’s name there are just a bunch of vowels that when put together sound like “uuuuuyooooo”

yeah, sometimes I look at names like that and think “Somebody buy this man a….. consonant?” no wonder Wheel of Fortune went with buying vowels instead…..

I’m telling ya the poster by the desk is the perfect solution. Of course, half the people in the picture no longer play for the Preds and I am often distracted by Shea Weber’s beard. But it’s a price I am willing to pay.
