A welcome bit of news comes for the Nashville Predators today as Nick Spaling has been restored to the Active Roster, having been put on Injured Reserve back on October 31st after getting hurt in a game against Anaheim. It looks like this is the first time all season the Preds haven't had any players on IR.
With David Legwand not expected to play tonight after taking a hard hit from L.A.'s Dustin Brown, Spaling's presence can help shore up the center position behind Mike Fisher and Craig Smith, who will likely man the top two scoring lines.
