Tuesday's notes: One for the road

The Nashville Predators wrap up their 5-game homestand tonight against Edmonton, before heading out on the road for a trip which will eventually take them through Western Canada for the second time already. While waiting for the game, check out your Predators-Oilers preview, gather together some used hockey equipment to donate at the arena tonight, and  read up on your morning hockey notes!

Phil Williams files his investigative report, which you can see below. While his job is obviously to generate TV ratings, I do find a couple of his points interesting, particularly the one by the team claiming that the Garth Brooks concerts led them to give up lucrative Saturday night home games. The timing between the creation of the NHL schedule and when those concerts came together wouldn't appear to support the Preds' position there.
