Monday afternoon notes: Is Pekka Pooped?
Pekka Rinne has played in all but one game for the Nashville Predators so far this season, and while nobody is complaining about his performance, one does have to wonder how long that can go on before the rigors of the game take their toll.
Our afternoon hockey notes begin with two articles examining just how much work Rinne is taking on, and the question of whether too much is being asked of him for the good of the team right now...

I wonder how long it will be until...
we start to see “Puck Fhil Williams” shirts in Nashville?
he would probably have to investigate why people are wearing those shirts
60% of the time it works every time

He would probably pay someone to wear it
Then he could claim that preds fans were being paid to sully his name.

It’s not the games played that will wear Rinne down so much as it is the amount of SOG’s he faces every night. As I know in my own life playing the position, it helps immensely when you can lean back once in awhile and watch the other teams goalie get peppered with shots instead of yourself.
Defense keeps you in games........offense wins them!

a part of me thinks williams needs to be ignored
everytime he posts something about the preds 1 or more preds bloggers writes a rebuttal. To me he is starting to resemble a child wanting attention. If you see a child throwing a tantrum for something the last thing you do is give in.

lets send McGrattan to investigate Phil Williams. Release the McGrattan!

Yep, but a child does not report to Tennessean homes every night. Just makes the organization look bad to the average joe, regardless of whether it is true or not. My only hope is that one day he slips up and is sued for slander.
the average joe
The people who actually value his reports aren’t going to see the rebuttal of the preds bloggers anyway, and 1 bad report to the ignorant few is better than 3 or more.

Pekka in a knot.....
is playing like the rest of the team of late, squeezing to hard…..
Not that it means anything, but...

Just got one of those tingly goalie sensations down my spine. Thinking Lindback will get the start for Nashville tonight. #TrustYerGut

puck fhil williams
Everyone notice when he interviews someone for his so called investigation he always interviews someone that spoke out that was against the lease or deal the Preds got.
