Chris Mueller recalled by Nashville Predators
With Teemu Laakso sent down to Milwaukee the other day, that opened up a spot on the Nashville Predators' active roster, so today they've called up center Chris Mueller from the Admirals. As Josh Cooper notes, Mueller is a Buffalo native, so it would be an extra-special opportunity for him to play against the Sabres tonight.
The money quote in Josh's post, however, goes to Barry Trotz, talking about Sergei Kostitsyn not being ready to play tonight:
When asked about the length of Kostitsyn's injury, which Trotz said he suffered in Calgary, the coach said this: "Don't know and don't care right now. I just care about tonight"
Last season, Mueller was hastily signed to an NHL contract and called up for duty in Nashville when the depth chart at center was decimated by injuries, notching 3 assists in 15 games. This year, he leads the Admirals in scoring with 9 goals and 8 assists through 19 games.

Q: What do mean and Coach Trotzy have in common?
A: We both feel the same about Tits’ play since signing his “big boy” contract.
Speculation on lines?
we gonna sit McG tonight and roll 33/11/27, 10/12/15, 24/13/22, and 25/17(Mueller)/28(K.Wilson)
Or will Trotz put Mueller on the 3rd line, and with who? 24/17/28 and 25/13/22. I’ll be interested to see.

Well, dang it!
Just when we regained our #30 cap hit status, they have to go and mess it up with this recall! I feel cheated. :D
My question is, does the other Wilson get sent down now?
Defense keeps you in games........offense wins them!
