It's a busy time in Smashville, and this morning is no exception ahead of tonight's bigger-than-it-should-be game against the Colorado Avalanche. Quickly, let's run down the news, courtesy of Josh Cooper of the Tennessean, Tom Callahan, and Ryan Porth of RLD Hockey:
Hey everyone, Mike Fisher is on the ice here in Nashville for the morning skate #preds
Impossible to tell what line Fisher is on because Sullivan and Erat aren't skating this morning... (Cont'd)Something tells me he's not playing left wing with Tootoo and Halischuk.
Svatos is on the ice as well #preds
Saw O'Reilly @ Centennial yesterday. Was still on crutches & in boot. He's going to see doctor soon to get timeline on when he can comeback.
Svatos may return next week, Goc 50/50 for tonight. Fisher is here and will play. Anderson still not back for Avs.
Of course, there's no concrete news there, but almost all of it is encouraging. Let's hope the good news can translate to the ice tonight. For pictures of Mike Fisher at the Preds' morning skate, check out these photos from the team's official Twitter account.
