Belak Practicing with D
I’m sorry but I wouldn’t mess with the EKG or KEG line (whichever your preference)
I, personally would go:
Wilson/Fisher/Hornqvist
Erat/Goc/SK74
Sully/Leggy/Ward
Smithson/Spaling/JP

Question is, do you want both our net crashers on one line? That’s probably why Trotz did what he did here.
Trotz’s top two lines have:
1. Net crasher – Fisher, Horny
2. Set-up guy – SK74, Leggy
3. Sniper – Sully, Erat
Ugh
Not thrilled with the Eastern Bloc break-up.

So Svatos was the odd-man out, Dirk, or did he swap around with Tootoo?

as an addendum
I was downtown at 10:50 this morning, was going to head to the Bridge and cover practice, decided to check my email first. Good decision because practice had been rescheduled!

Yes, with Toots and Svatos wearing green jerseys – 22 not yet cleared , and Svatos probably not ready to play tomorrow
Bryan Mullen tweeted that Svatos could play tomorrow.

Hey y'all
I just changed allegience. After a decade, I’ve washed my hands of the Thrashers. Last January, I moved from Montgomery to Huntsville, so I suppose the right thing to do is start following the Preds. What do I need to know to be a Preds fan? Also, thanks for the insider look at lines and pairings. I’ve been figuring it out by watching last two games, but it’s still a little confusing to me, all the new names and numbers, etc. However, I’m on board and I think the Fisher pick-up is fantastic for this team. I’ve followed the Preds from afar, including last year’s playoff. But I still feel so new to the org.
First of all, welcome to the addiction and the site.
Second, I’d recommend writing a FanPost with your “story”, as it were, and pose the same questions in there. It’ll get much more visibility and comments on the right hand side of the site as opposed to buried in the comments of an unrelated post. :)

Bienvenue!
So…was it the Carolina last second win that finally sent you over the edge?
Like Chris said, writing a fan post would be an interesting read, especially since I have been keeping up with Atlanta this year, and they seem to have promise year in and year out, but just can’t quite get over that hump.
GO PREDS!!!!!!!

If you REALLY want to become a Preds fan....
You GOTTA come up for a game. In fact, try to make it a Red Wings game. It will be a life-changing experience.

love the lines
a good mix of perimeter players and net crashers on the first two. not sure about the ward/dumont placings on the last two. But each line has someone who can finish in front of the net if the others can just get the puck to the net or slot area.
What sent me over the edge?
Have you seen that train wreck in Georgia? I’ll spill my guts on the Fan post.
Gumpucks...
welcome. Living rooms, bedrooms, dinettes…. is it true they really have all that stuff there at the Flea Market? We talkin bout flea market.
I'm sent here by the chosen one
I’m digging the top 3 lines. Not too sad about EKG line breaking up. They were OUR most productive line, but not really all that productive in the grand scheme of things. That 4th line though… yikes. With Dumont it’s not a shutdown line; with Spaling & Smithson it’s not a scoring line. It’s just… nothing. Of course I say that and there’ll be a Smithson hat-trick tomorrow!
