I've always wanted to play goalie in the NHL, so let me extend my gratitude to Pekka Rinne for letting me borrow his jersey and helmet last Monday and suit up against the Edmonton Oilers. It didn't go as well as I planned, but I still had fun. Good thing I let him play the last 2 games, right?

GOC THINKS YOU SHOULD JUMP...

A. Pekka Rinne reaches back against the Oilers.

He let in 4 goals because he wanted to save his energy for this. Ryan Suter with the assist.

B. Pekka Rinne stones Tomas Holmstrom's in-between-the-legs attempt.

That's one that Holmstrom usually gets past the unsuspecting goaltender.

Peks didn't have to make a lot of saves in this game (and, frankly, he didn't), but this was a big one to keep the game in hand for the Preds.
