I wouldn’t put to much stock into any denials/non-denials at this point before the trade deadline. Lots of word games will be going on until 3pm tomorrow…..

Supposedly two years ago Poile had a deal done for Ponikarovsky but it got filed just after the 3:00 deadline. It’ll be a wild, wild day (although probably not as wild as recent years thanks to all the deals already done).

Considering the downward swing of his stats the last couple of years, I’ll bet the Blues fans are glad to move him out for the pick. Boyes was a 24th overall pick, but disappeared a lot. Wonder if they’ll pair Boyes and Vanek due to both of their streakiness.
