In a landmark moment for Tennessee hockey, Brentwood's own Blake Geoffrion, the highly-celebrated 4th generation pro hockey player in his 3rd game with the Nashville Predators, scored the opening goal in tonight's game at Edmonton, the first of his NHL career. It came off a rush by Ryan Suter (a fellow University of Wisconsin alum) down the left side, a bit of a broken play, then a feed from Suter behind the Oilers' net:
