Western Conference Scoreboard Watch - March 14, 2011

Thanks to OTF reader OddManRush for contributing this graphic to use for these posts!

It's another evening of watching and waiting for fellow Western Conference playoff hopefuls to stumble. With 3 huge matchups on the calendar for this week (L.A. tomorrow night, Boston on Thursday, and Detroit on Saturday), the Nashville Predators will have their work cut out for them, and a little out-of-town help wouldn't hurt.

San Jose Sharks vs Chicago Blackhawks (7:00 p.m Central on VERSUS)
At this point I think we have to pull for San Jose to win the Pacific Division, and put a beatdown on the Blackhawks, who sit two points ahead of Nashville in 7th place.

Minnesota Wild vs Vancouver Canucks (9:00 p.m. Central)
The Wild may have stunk up the joint lately, but they remain just 3 points behind the Predators and are very much in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Canucks are cruising towards the #1 seed in the West and hold the inside track for the Presidents Trophy.

Celebrate the Ides of March tomorrow against Los Angeles, or St. Patrick's Day against the Boston Bruins on Thursday. Take the OTF Discount to save money on Nashville Predators tickets for these, or any other home game!
