OtF March Madness Final: Rinne With The Romp

IS THERE NO ONE ELSE!?

Well, so much for a close final. Pekka Rinne ran away with the March Madness final Monday, to claim the title of On The Forecheck's favorite Predator, defeating Nashville captain Shea Weber 43-23. With his play this year, Rinne has put his name right in the middle of the discussion for the Vezina trophy, and some consider him a dark horse candidate for the Hart, as well. Regardless, as Dirk pointed out yesterday, Pekka Rinne is our MVP this year, and very much deserved to win this competition.

Some awesome highlights after the jump of Pekka just being Pekka this year (in no particular order):

This one wasn't really Rinne, but it's still awesome to watch:

Since the comments have been closed for the duration of this competition, feel free to discuss it below. I know JR has been waiting to rip my seeding of Marcel Goc, and I'm sure there are others out there who would like to do something similar.

Thanks for participating in this year's March Madness! Hopefully we'll be able to do it again next March. Will Rinne repeat? If he keeps playing at this level, I like his chances.
