chemistry?
My only thoughts on this Dirk, would be about how he might conflict with our chemistry.
Granted, we need a a dynamic scorer, as mentioned in the article (and obvious statement of the year). However, his inability to be “one of the guys” would seem to counteract with the fabric that makes our team what it is. Granted, I would love to see the Preds be a serious contender (in the minds of the mainstream hockey world) from the get-go but I feel his negative impact in the dressing room would prove detrimental.
I’ve hung with Kostistyn on a few occasions and while he admits being in a smaller market isn’t as “cool”, he really likes his teammates and coaches here in Nashville (and will probably re-sign- his words). That tells me that the team likes each other and it makes me worry Radulov would diminish this dynamic.

I think the chemistry will be fine. The Preds are going to bring back leadership guys from the past like Kimmo, Arkhipov and Wade Brookbank to take care of it. Grebeshkov is coming back from the KHL with Radulov, too, so he has a buddy. I mean, once we trade Shea in a three-way deal for Parise and Stamkos (plus options and the rights to Youppi!), there will be no stopping us, especially since Belak is going to take over coaching the power play and Toe Blake is going to be Poile’s assistant GM.
