Hello Preds fans and various wandering folk, I need your assistance. There is a commonly held stance that the NHL officials both on and off the ice should call penalties and assess supplementary discipline differently in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I would like to explore this concept by reaching out to my fellow hockey fans for information.
Therefore I ask:
- Do you believe that referees should alter their penalty criteria or call fewer penalties during the playoffs?
- Further, should Colin Campbell assess supplementary differently during the post season?
- Why or why not?
Please feel free to either leave comments below or send them to me in an e-mail at PuckAndPunk@gmail.com. While this topic could potentially start a debate in the comment section my goal is gather fan opinions so that I can compare and contrast and interpret the various stances in a future blog.
Thank you, I hope that you'll take a moment to voice your opinion.
