My dad called me today and said he had some interesting news to tell me.  My heart was crushed by happened next.

Me: What is it, Dad?

D: A business partner of mine has a suite at Bridgestone Arena.  He's taking me to the game tonight.  The suite is just off from center ice.  I'm SOOOO pumped.

M: ...wat?

D: A business partner of mine has a suite at....

M: (interrupting) I heard what you said Dad.  You going to watch the game from a suite?

D:  Yeah! Crazy right?  I was just going to sit at home and watch it on TV.  I think this is a little better, don't you?

M: Are you kidding?  That's incredible...

D: It's too bad you're not in town.  My partner said you could've come too had you been in Nashville.

M: ...WAT?

D:  It's too bad you're not....

M: I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID DAD.  YOU'RE SAYING I COULD HAVE GONE TO THE GAME TOO?!?!?!?!

D:  Yeah.  It's a bummer you can't be here.  It would've been fun.

I could have gone to the game tonight.  In a suite.  Just off center ice.  Playoff game.  Predators.
