Can let Dan Hamhuis have it. Yes, after not playing in the two regular season games here due to injury. Those Predator fans who have waited to get even with Hammer for his (perceived by the super sensitive) slam of Nashville at his welcome to the Canucks event. I want you to scream, boo, jeer him every time he is on the ice. The Cell block to lead us in frothy, passionate ridicule of Hamhuis is a sissy! I want you to explode with great gusto and zeal when he makes a mistake that leads to a Predators score. I want the Hammer Haters to get it all out! WHEW, I need a minute to calm down. Then can we move on and quit acting like the jilted ex girlfriend. Move our collective focus back to beating the Canucks and winning this series.

+1 on both counts.

I was disappointed for the remark he made about our weeknight attendance shortly after he left, but I’ve forgiven and moved on. He did so much for the community while he was here, and by all accounts, is doing the same there. I recently read an article about his continued relationship with his special buddy here (a young man with Down Syndrome with whom he’s stayed in touch). I think he’s a really great guy.

Let Me be clear about this....

I DO NOT CARE what Hammer said in front of the Canuck faithful. It didn’t change my life and the city I enjoy one bit. Hopefully after Game 3 some of us fans will express their 10 month held disgust, get it out and be done with it.
