No doubt, i expect we will see multiple catfish on the ice tomorrow night for Game 3. The Tire barn will be rocking, and i wouldn't miss it for the world.
That being said (and i know this has been discussed in comment sections before) let us have an open discussion on the etiquette of the catfish toss and helpful tips from those willing to divulge.
1.) As has been stated before, boiling the fish for a short time and placing it in a ziplock bag will decrease the slimy texture and eliminate the chance of a "guts explosion" on the ice.
2.) Live-ice catfish tosses should probably be avoided, line-up introductions and face-offs following made goals are the best times to toss.
3.) If your looking to cut-down on the smell, you can always use organic scent-block doggy waste bags. Available at any Pet store.
