UPDATE: According to Titan Sports Management, the graphic above was a preliminary draft that wasn't supposed to go live on their website, but was inadvertently published. They've since corrected it.
I'm guessing that Shea Weber didn't pick his new agent (Jarrett Bousquet of Titan Sports Management) based on spelling ability. What's a "Medilist"? And I think he was best "Defenseman" at the 2009 World Championships, unless he cloned himself and played both sides of the blueline for Canada. That's not out of the question for The Captain, but I think I would've remembered it.
Also, typically calling someone an "NHL All Star" is reserved for those players on the All Star teams named at the end of the season, not just guys who went to the All-Star Game.

How can you win 2 time NHL Allstar? Does he have two other players in his basement or something?

I think they were trying to say he is the “only hockey player in history to win.” Every body else lost.

I hope the Predators retain all rights to any clones of Shea Weber.
"My, my, here's one for the (no) neck. Don't relax, 'cause you're next for the check!"
That’s why they went to arbitration. The CBA Is vague on clone rights.

His clone is an RFD this year… Restricted Free Duplicate.

Pffft...silly Pred fans
Everyone knows the NHLPA is quite clear on clones. They are free agents with no preference due for the original.
Pretty sure the Canucks are talking with his clone ( who, strangely enough, stayed with Meehan )

If the clone comes from a lab in Europe, does he have to clear waivers?

Dan:
I may not play in a 40 and over league, but I know enough to know that the Nucks have NO CHANCE of getting Weber. Especially not with the long term contract you already have with Roberto “choke artist” Luongo.
Now you can go and troll somewhere else.

Seriously, if Weber’s agent its responsible for this photo thing above..RUN SHEA RUN! Someone needs to tell Shea to get an agent that has some sense.

Good advice. It seems passing strange that he would change agents just as his previous agent’s yearlong talks with GMDP were arriving at the deadline. Not good at all, in my view, but at least the move to arbitration will buy a little time

It seems like their website was written in another language and it was run through Google t
Translater.
They obviously could use the expertise of Aditya, OddManRush, 3DLink or any of the other graphics gurus here on OTF. My apologies for omitting anyone.
Heh. I did actually consider reverse-engineering it into a proper version, but I’m not really sure why I didn’t. I guess with Shea’s contract in that agency’s hands, I didn’t want to jinx anything. Interesting thoughts being floated around here though.
(And I’m just a hack, btw. Aditya is the real guru.)

or maybe...
This might actually lend credence to a tongue-in-cheek theory I proposed today…
If Shea knows that he’s going to sign a basically lifetime deal with the Preds (especially for a ‘home town discount’) he might have decided that having Don Meehan take 10% didn’t sound awesome, so since Don wouldn’t have much work to do after this, fire Don, hire some bum (or friend) willing to take 3% instead of 10% and call it a deal. Everyone but Don goes home happy.
This is, of course, ridiculous… until you read the above post. Yikes.

Yeah, at 7 mil, that hypothetical 7% difference would be almost $500k. So he could take a $6.5 mil contract instead and get about the same money in pocket.

I doubt the percentages are right (10% seems awfully high even for a top-shelf agent), but the basic idea rings true.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed...
but I’m pretty certain that Shea isn’t the only one to do any of those things. Much less all of them.
Unless being the only one in history to win an award in 2009 that is only awarded to one person a year is a thing…
