Tuesday's notes: Preds split with the Panthers, head north to face Washington

After splitting yesterday's doubleheader vs. the Florida Panthers (NHL.com has a recap for the first game yesterday, a 5-3 Nashville win, and the boxscore from the second, a 4-3 loss), the Nashville Predators head up the East Coast to Baltimore, to face off against the Washington Capitals in a pre-season match dubbed "The Baltimore Hockey Classic". The best news is that at least we'll be able to catch this game on the radio, with the puck dropping shortly after 6:00 p.m. Central, and the pre-game show launching at 5:00 on 102.5 The Game.

It'll be interesting to hear how The Game handles Preds broadcasts this season, and in one note of interest, from what I understand, the pre-game shows for the regular season could be a bit of a tag-team affair. For now, though, follow after the jump for a treasure trove of morning hockey news...
