The Nashville Predators pushed their preseason record to 2-1 with a 2-0 triumph over Washington in the Baltimore Hockey Classic. Chris Mueller led with the way with a goal and an assist, Niclas Bergfors had two assists, and Colin Wilson scored in the third period. NHL.com has your basic recap for you. Building off of pre-game concerns about the quality of the ice, it sounds like the players weren't too happy with the conditions. This, as tweeted by Tarik El-Bashir of the Washington Post:
Tyler Sloan on soupy ice at 1st Mariner: "It was bad. Along the boards, there was cement. Guys were ticked off ... it was dangerous."
