Today you can catch Nashville Predators training camp practices from 9:30-11:00, and noon-1:30 at Centennial Sportsplex, ahead of a busy weekend which features a game at Carolina on Friday, followed by the preseason home opener on Saturday against Winnipeg. If you're going to Saturday's game, the Preds have passed along word that there will some festivities going on leading up to the game.
There will be a Blood Drive starting at 4:00 (you can either walk up, or schedule an appointment at GiveLife.org), and activities on the Plaza starting at 4:30. There will also be staff collecting donations for the Andie & Alex Belak Scholarship Fund.
NOTE: If you park across the river at LP Field, be advised that the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge will be closed for some winos.
