Klein has looked really good considering how long he had been out. The whole team has managed the game really well.

is it horny's birthday?!
no wonder the Jersey is working!

could it be?!
did they start realizing it has little to do with our defense and if the offense could do this everygame we would be winning some more games . alot more . klein has to do well, and he will….. for about a week
@SUNRandySportak Flames need to score four goals on Pekka Rinne to win this game. They’ve scored four on him in 14 periods this season.
R.I.P. Belak, Rypien, Boogaard, Lokomotiv.

That's not accurate.
Games this season so far:
Preds 2, Flames 0
Flames 1, Preds 0
Preds 2, Flames 1
Now math was never my strong suit, but last time I checked, that adds up to 2 goals coming into tonight. At the time he tweeted that, they had scored 1. Therefore, the Flames had only scored 3 goals on the Preds in 14 periods.

Considering they only play the Flames 4 times a season, you’re absolutely right. Dude messed up his info.
"Life is but a knife blade, anyways. Sooner or later you slip and get cut." Charlie Goodnight from Streets of Laredo by Larry McMurtry.
But did you look back to last season? Last four games against the Flames plus the two period from tonight and after the comment was made. I don’t know the numbers, but you can string together 14 periods that way.
I didn’t, but either way… he said this season…. so he was wrong.

I doubt you would make a mistake that could be that easily researched. Should’ve been a tip off- 14 periods, when the Preds-Flames only play 12 periods all year.

This is looking like the Lightning power play.

Does anyone remember who did the research and found that Weber was on the ice for something like 26 of our 28 PP goals? I’m trying to remember, and I might have the numbers a little off.
our power play is terrible
all the time! should just leave it equal strength we’re better off
That's why the Preds have the 2nd best PP in the league.

FYI
Somebody over at Matchsticks and Gasoline was wishing Calgary had skill players like the Preds do. Being envied feels weird.

…..like who? Forwards or D (cause D I can understand)?

The impression I got was that they were talking about forwards. It’s pretty dead over there. They must convene someplace else.

Oh Alex Radulov…. I wish he would come back… too bad that probably won’t happen. Ever.

If he won’t come back to Nashville, I’d rather trade his rights for an actual player.

I think we should give him the Chris Johnson restructuring thing!!!

The 3rd period
Has been much more like the Preds-Flames hockey that I’m used to watching.

Looks like Ellis and Tootoo are gonna be buddies
they will start the Mini-Preds club and invite Hillen and the Cube to join them.

HB has been looking like he’s lost his confidence. he’s playing with a kind of desperation that isn’t producing.

I think he’s earned a little patience, considering that given to tits. Plus he hasn’t been a defensive liability
I agree
but he may get his confidence on the 3rd line

Who knows why Trotz does that. But I’m willing to cut the kid a little slack as long as the team scores when he’s on the ice.

Hopefully (since there was no competition today)
SK gets 1st star of the night on NHL.com

That's assuming that NHL.com recognizes that we even played a game tonight...

Knowing the NHL it'll go something like this:
1. Shea Weber (because the Preds won, obviously he helped)
2. Jarome Iginla
3. Ryan Suter

Wooohoo! So good to win!
So pathetic that there’s still NO mention on NHL.com.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say the 3 stars of the night for the NHL are all going to be from this game
60% of the time it works every time
Iginla for getting goal #499, that other fella (Morrison?) who got goal #200, and Kippersoff for keeping his morale up even with Pekka playing a little better than him.

Explanation
Kostitsyn was overheard saying that he would “kill that smarmy bastard if he asked Sergei anymore condescending questions.”
He was just scared of Mark's Forest Whitaker lazy eye.

His radio interview
during the 2nd intermission was fantastic. I forgot who was coaching the team for a minute there.
I started listening halfway through the 3rd
and I heard Tits give it away a few times. I was thinking maybe Trotz should bench him. Guess I didn’t know the whole story. LOL

the picture of Kimmo Timmonen on the ESPN NHL frontpage looks like Charlie Sheen
just a random observation
2 assists for Klein? in addition to his goal?
I didn’t realize he had a 3 goal night.

and Mark Howard was wrong. only 1 g 1a for Klein.

Klein interviews well.
“He’s a well conditioned athlete” -not a lot of hockey players can pull that one out during a live interview.
Finding a well-spoken hockey player is like watching for Tits to shoot the puck (not counting tonight, of course).

-nashvillepredators-
There are a few
of them out there, thought. Tim Thomas comes to mind. Very well spoken in post-game interviews.
Yeah, Timmy is really good.
There’s another one coming to mind, but I can’t think of who it is…. my guess is the Harvard grad who plays for Pittsburgh is probably pretty well-spoken, too haha.

it’s pretty good I take it? or is Klein a man of bad taste in steaks?

i thought for sure it’d be a snoozer.
