Reading further, apparently Nashville wanted to talk contract with Weber but he reportedly stated he wants to wait till the offseason. Now Suter isn't the only one that's going to be a free agent (both restricted and unrestricted) as Wilson, Toots, Kostitsyn, Bouillon, and probably others are set to hit the market. But to me it sounds that Weber wants to keep people around and I assume people is at least Suter.
