I saw a stat that says that Columbus attendance is actually up this year. Which says alot about how bad they were last year.
The weather is bad.

I think i was Adam Proteau who pointed that out last week and then said, if he were the Preds he’d just open up all the lanes and let people shoot.
Which seems to have been the strategy since about December of 2010.

Is that the Preds are up 2-0. They’re playing defense more, not trying hard.

On a night when the Jackets were far and away the better team, they faced one of the best goaltenders in the league who brought his “A” game. The Jackets pressed hard, and showed a ton of effort, but were unable to come away with the victory.

i think he should still get nominated because part of the vezina’s qualifications is who is the goalie that does the most for his team. howard and thomas are great, but look at the teams in front of them. peks gives us a chance to win every game by himself
Yeah, that’s definitely something to consider. That’s mostly why I was kinda surprised that he didn’t win last year. I mean, Thomas definitely deserved it because he broke records and stuff (pssh), but had he not broken anything, I have to wonder if Rinne would have taken it home.
