Love the article from the Bridgestone CEO.

Some of it is just rah-rah corporate speak, but the last paragraph really shows they are going to pull hard for an All-Star Game. It’ll benefit all involved greatly. I’ll definitely be having friends down from Minnesota if/when it happens!

Also, Geoffrion is not doing too well in Milwaukee so far. That’s disappointing, whereas Blum took the demotion as a kick in the keester – #5 seems to be in an apathetic funk. Hopefully he snaps out of that soon or he might get traded to Montreal, and they might bury him in the minors for good if he doesn’t produce!

I TOO

loved the article and agree that much of it is rah-rah. however, the stats for the arena and the extension are facts, and good ones. re: boomer- he hasnt played well, but could still be fighting injury. the team needs him at some point, but the preds wont suffer this season if he remains in mil. for the year.

Halischuk

King of the Backhand Spin-o-rama goals! I think he’s scored at least three of them… Anyway, I’ve liked him since day one. Hustles his butt off, never takes a shift off, and he gets rewarded for it. Not the kind of guy you build a franchise around, but definitely one you love to watch battle for your team every night.
