So if we continue to sell our standing room tickets for the rest of the season, can we make it up to 100% attendance?
This is a not a joking question. Chi (104.8), Phi(113.9), Tor (103.7) are always listed above 100% capacity. What is the Bridge’s max capacity percentage (counting standing room) and can we make it up to 100% by the end of the season?
Just the thought of us selling SRO tickets to a regular season game not involving the Red Wings brings a little tear to the eye. My how our little franchise has grown…sniff, sniff.

Didnt I read that ticket revenue was actually down last year for the Preds. Tickets are available with a myriad of discounts.
If the discounts help you fill seat, I am all for it. The rest of the league doesn’t look at revenue, they look at our seats when they play us. Plus, who doesn’t want to rub full houses in Hamhuis’ face?
Plus that's already paying off in a myriad of ways..
They have to have a lottery now for the $10 tickets because there are so many people in line and actually camping out. Ticket prices went up right before Xmas and how many sellouts have we had since then?
It’s brought butts in the seats and now those butts want more. I think it was an unbelievably smart thing to do in a non-traditional market where all it really takes is 1 or 2 games to get “non-hockey fans” to change their minds about the greatest game on earth.

Unfortunately, it’s because nearly half the people were in red. Not to say that we wouldn’t have sold it out, but I’ll bet the Blackhawks fans bought their tickets a long time in advance.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was the Avs game that didn't sellout...Fell short a couple hundred because of weather issues.

I just wish that one day we have enough preds fans at one of their games to start audibly chanting Let’s go Predators before the game starts
I've been to two games myself
Carolina and Columbus where our fans were as loud if not louder than the home fans. Believe me, the Preds fans were heard. As a matter of fact we were complimented in Columbus by their fans that said they wished their fans were like ours.

Yeah, that’s true. Over 4 years of living there, I just got an overwhelming impression that as big of a sports city as Chicago is, there’s a lot of bandwagon-ship… I very suddenly started getting got a TON of never-ending, crass, and uncalled for shit for being a Preds fan from every Hawks “fan” (and fan) I knew, and it was totally obnoxious. I do know people who have followed them forever, and I’m fine with them, but right now I can’t STAND most of their fans (at least the ones I know).

it is probably a bit much, but this is a significant showing on the Chicago fans part. the solid red in the jerseys make them stand out, and when they scored, that’s about as loud as i had hears visiting fans in here. You know, except when they yell during the anthem which just disgusts me.

That’s good. He kinda quit doing that for us a while ago. If you can convince him to do that more and crash the net, he should be pretty decent for you.
But watch out for his shitty penalties at inopportune times. And score-less streaks. And turnovers that lead to goals.

I wish him well, but he wasn’t making it happen here. He was a Top 6 guy for us during his first season and scored 19 pts in 32 games. But last year, he was TERRIBLE and hasn’t looked much better up until this point. He just got passed in our depth chart and wasn’t really a Top 6 or Bottom 6 player anymore.
Hopefully he figures it out for you. Just know his defense may need some work.

I honestly think Blackhawk fans are some of the most despicable in the league from my own personable dealings with them. Vancouver fans are probably the most annoying, but generally they are harmless. There are probably some good Blackhawk fans out there, but I have yet to meet them in person.

I can't agree too quick with your opinion
This team is not better than our 07 team that played vs. the Sharks and lost 4-1. The top three seeds taken by division leaders screwed us up. We should have been second in the West but the divisional leaders rule didn’t allow us.

I’d prefer to see St. Louis in the first round. Vancouver would be my second option. This team just fell short last time around vs. Van City but I think we’ve grown.

Trotz is such a funny guy
I don't think anyone can rip him anymore.
