We had two pecan trees in the backyard when I was growing up. That was cool until you had to rake them up. I kid you not, one of those trees produced so many pecans it destroyed the roof over our back porch.

I went to the game saturday night with a guy that works at an ice rink in Carmel, IN. He was very critical of the zamboni work in Bridgestone.
He mainly critiqued the drivers… he used words that I didn’t understand. I guess zamboni technical language.
apparently there is. He went on about the entire time they were cleaning the ice during the 2nd intermission
I guess pumping water, but not making it too wet… getting all the corners… scraping all the dead ice off… not leaving any dry spots…? I have no idea.

where and why?
For someone recent into the hockey world. last 4 years… where you from and why do you like the preds? i’m intrested to know what people think outside of this great city.
I’m from Toronto, haven’t been to the playoffs in 7 years. I’ve been following the Preds for a few years, love the style, the players, and the management. Poile and Trotz are highly regarded over here, in fact before we hired Burke, most fans and media wanted Poile here, and umm PEKKA RINNE.
Everyone wants Pekka Rinne.

Not in the public schools. My daughter had half-day K in Iowa. Poor teacher had two classes of 25-26 kids each (morning class, and afternoon class).
