I wouldn’t mind if the current ASG got burn at the end of the weekend. Ok, that’s not fair. I don’t like the centered number above the crest. Really, really don’t like it.

I like how on the Sports Talk show that was on before the draft coverage here, Jason Brough from the ProHockeyTalk site picked Shea Weber as his MVP for the first half. The other guy went with Malkin, but I liked how he gave props to Shea.
I saw that but was only half paying attention until I heard Shea’s name. Were they selecting from anyone they wanted league wide, or from ASG attendees (or did they say)? ‘Cause Weber’s great and all, but Pekka is our MVP, hands down.

Google results say April 2013 was initial completion date, and that now they’re saying fall 2013. I’m sure we won’t get it ‘till that’s completed. Though we should get it for sure after that. It’ll be great…

Two groups have canceled planned conventions at Nashville’s $585 million Music City Center over concerns the project will not be ready for their scheduled meetings.
The American Trucking Association and the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association have dropped their meetings at the site because it may not be completely ready for the dates they had requested.
Andrea Arnold, spokeswoman for the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, said Friday the two groups signed contracts to use the center in March 2013 – before the construction schedule was set with a completion date of April 30, 2013.
The center’s construction is on schedule, Arnold said.
“It’s disappointing but not devastating,” Butch Spyridon, head of the bureau, told The Tennessean
