With talk of union decertification having taken over the discussion around NHL Lockout 2012, it appears that the players may have found an opportunity to exert some leverage in their battle with the owners. While he has been widely touted for being the "smartest guy in the room" and the dominant force in league circles for nearly 20 years, has Gary Bettman perhaps met his match in NHLPA Executive Director Don Fehr?
