10 minute break in class, yay! I guess it’s good the game only just started… means I’ll miss less of it later.

Excellent D there by Kevin Klein, not letting Simmonds get loose, but keeping his feet moving to avoid a penalty, too.

The truth is neither libelous nor slanderous.
Reason and logic instead of hope and faith.
Pro athletes--it's not what they say, it's what they do.
General managers--it's not what they say, it's what they do.
Sorry – had a phone call and getting dinner ready…
I don’t see this as an audition, really. I think that the coaches want to get Anders more starts, thus giving Pekka some rest as we head down the stretch. I recall many goalies who got so overworked that they were worn out by the time the playoffs hit. Plus, that gives Pekka the start against St. Louis this Saturday.
Anders needs some games to stay sharp in case he is needed, but I don’t think this is explicitly for trade purposes.
Don't like the way this is going

Yeah, right. Flyers 4, Predators 1.

Finally this page loaded, sheesh.

for all you know, there never are any dudes here but you and Dirk.

Game threads and daily commentors are two separate populations, though. The dailies are mostly guys.

That would be an interesting thing to take a poll on…

I know! I was surprised… I wonder how many guys just didn’t follow to FB from here, cause I get the impression that usually there are more (or, at the very least, an equal number of) guys.

“Can you believe she won’t accept me as her “Facebook Friend” or “I can’t believe she posted that picture of me!” ect…
OH. Yeah, that annoys the crap out of me. Such menial, obnoxious complaints.

Or the employee at work who is on the way out the door and drops a few parting game changers on his wall.
I’ve gotten bad at following along on here during the game, what’s this about facebook now? I was wondering why there were so few comments after the game.
It was. I was trying to guess who everybody could be.

Well that sucked.
Not looking forward to the highlights from the periods I missed… or were they not too bad?

Well, when I found out Pekka wasn't playing this is what I expected.
Wasn’t Anders’s fault per say, but it’s what I feared.
Ditto.
I love Anders, but I always get a little worried when he plays (especially against powerhouses like Philly, too).
Hands go uuppp..... AND THEY STAY THERE!

Exactly. Pekka gets 90% of the work, and who’s to blame him — he gets shit done — but it is a problem for Anders.

He played better last season than he has this season. It’s not that he’s bad at hockey. It’s that he’s a goaltender (lots of variability)

lamesauce
The goal by read was semi-soft on Lindy’s part but I think the real blame tonight goes to the absolutely terrible special teams. The PP was pretty miserable pretty much the whole night and the PK on the goal that put the Flyers up 3-1 was super super lame.
I currently star in the new MTV3 series,
"Jersey Shore: Lake Erie Edition"
Cleveland Rocks!
So I missed all but the last 5 minutes
Was it a bad game or an unlucky one?

Just stank
Lindback Looked Shaky from the start. No real offense. Pretty much a Carbon Copy of the Rangers game but we scored a goal
Surprised by the lack of complete freaking out.
I guess it is because it was Lindback in net. Let’s get back into it against St. Louis.

I agree. I think I’m not as upset about tonight because I used up all of my irritation for SBN tonight! :-)

Lindbacks won one game this year and that was in Milwalkee. He has lost to 4 Eastern Conf. teams and Dallas. He needs time with the Ads. Bring up Smith and give Lindback some work.
I am kind of concerned by lack of scoring, but I think we were due for a dud.
A little worried about PP sucking also.

I think they just have a really good PK.

On the radio feed they said that their percentage was the same as ours.

I was also shocked when I saw that there were only 100+ comments.

They locked us out for TWO WHOLE HOURS!! It’s a conspiracy, I tells ya.

I see. That is probably why they lost. My phone got fried last night so I couldn’t follow along on the way to work like I normally do.

Yeah SBNation was down forever. Couldn’t get on RawCharge or here. Quite annoying.

Sometimes I want to get back to that. Just watch the game and take it all in.

Yeah, I miss that too sometimes. I tend to multitask CONSTANTLY, though, even if I’m just watching regular TV, I usually have a book, or my computer, or something.
The problem is, I suddenly realize I’m missing everyone cheering along with me and being hilarious, so it always sucks me back in.

Hrmmph.

I think VAN beats Detroit.

While I agree that they don't, I'm not usually one to say how little respect the Preds get
But they’re already on the front page of nhl.com with their loss.
