The talk of the NHL came late last night out of Edmonton, where Oilers center Sam Gagner tallied 8 points (4 goals & 4 assists), tying a franchise record and presumably taking himself out of any trade speculation this month. Seriously, can you see a team trading a guy after having a game like this?

“Clown” (as some call him) or not. I think anyone would have a hard time finding something bad to say about Harts off the ice. He is what is right about athletes.
The fact that the Preds agreed to his request to let Partner go on this trip shows the love they have for Partner and the quality in which the organization conducts itself.
