Now I need the Preds to keep my good mood going. I’ve been doing the Ron Swanson dance ever since Rivers drained the buzzer-beater last night.
Definite heart breaker, that’s why its even more satisfying for a Duke alum. Seeing Roy Williams cry was the icing on that cake of awesomeness.

or west teams that can only play a spoiler roll, like EDM. While they are not too good, they’ve had flashes of brilliance against some VERY good teams this season. (and fortunately we only have one more against them)

I still think Bourque is stronger in this lineup than yip
yip is bigger, but Bourque has puck possesion/puck grabbing skills that yip doesn’t seem to have. Bourque is almost like Ward on the boards, he doesn’t lose very often

the main issue is the playoff race for the bottom seeds is really tight right now

And Paul Kariya (not trade deadline, but you get my point). OH, and um, he got us Mike Fisher last year.
I’m damn happy with that. If he does nothing this year, I REALLY doubt it’s because he doesn’t want to. It’s gonna be because there are no appropriate/available/worthwhile players. It’s slim pickin’s right now. So no. PLEASE do not fire Poile.

All I said was, if the Preds once again don’t do a lot to get better for the postseason and lose in the first round AGAIN, it might be something to think about to go in a different direction with either management or coaching.
