The bandwagon slams to a halt: Tuesday's notes

The finality of last night's playoff elimination is just starting to set in for Preds fans, as a team which had so much promise for a run at the 2012 Stanley Cup has instead been eliminated by a squad which simply beat them at their own game. There are a zillion questions to be addressed regarding Nashville's short- and long-term future, and we'll dig into those fully over the upcoming days and weeks, rest assured.

Around the hockey world, the playoffs are moving on, of course, and there's renewed optimism that the Coyotes' future in Phoenix might finally be secured...
