Wow.. According to Darren Dreger via Twitter, Weber has signed an offer sheet with the Philadelphia Flyers for 14 years and upwards of 100 million dollars. Preds now have exactly a week to match this offer.

I always knew Philly was interested in Weber, but I didn't think they would actually extend a huge offer like this. Losing Suter was bad enough, but I can't see how Poile will now let Weber walk. The compensation for letting Weber sign an offer sheet this big would include a lot of first round picks. Let's hold our breaths but I really hope Weber stays with you guys.
