The Nashville Predators' franchise goalie got right to work in the KHL, earning his first win today for Dinamo Minsk in a 3-2 triumph over Atlant Moscow.
Pekka Rinne sported his trademark mask and pads, but the uniform and number (#32) looked quite different as he earned a victory in his first KHL game, turning aside 24 shots.
You can check out an extended highlight package here - you've got to like the cheerleaders dancing at one end of the ice, with the spotlight on them during play:
Check out the action around the 6:20 mark, as one shot gets by Peks, but he spins around and corrals the puck before it can cross the line.
So far, Rinne is the only Nashville Predator playing in the KHL, while Patric Hornqvist is in Sweden but hasn't played yet for his old Swedish team, Djurgarden.
