So, tomorrow has FINALLY ARRIVED, everybody!!! The day the ENTIRE HOCKEY PRESS HAS BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE JULY, 2012!!! The Preds and Flyers are are finally meeting face-to-face, in person, and in the flesh. Flyers fans will finally have a chance to drool over their coveted Almost Savior Defenseman Who Woulda Looked Super Hawt In Orange And Black (assuming his macho, unvisored eyeball is back to 100%, of course), and the hockey media is going to have their long-awaited field day yammering on and on about said encounter between these two teams post-offer sheet dram, and What Coulda Been Don't Ya Know.
But I could care less about the orange and black and what 6 would have potentially looked like wearing that atrocious color combination. I am way more concerned with something much more disturbing and pressing that we need to clear up asap in advance of this game: Instead of being worried about what could have happened if Nashville had not matched Philly's offer sheet last summer, ask yourself this: WHICH MEMBER OF .38 SPECIAL IS SCOTT HARTNELL?
Exactly. It's been bothering me, too. For as long as I can remember. It's the elephant in the room that nobody wants to broach during the holidays and at playoffs. But it's there, right? It's such a conundrum. Really, it could be any one of them, right? So very difficult to discern for sure, which is why we need the objective opinion of others to decide for sure and put an end to the debate forever.
So please, if you would indulge us and clicky-click your verdict in the poll so we know what you think? There really isn't much more to say about this game. Two desperate teams with rather atrocious uniforms and arguably troubled leadership... Hmmm. Guess they have more in common than we thought. Go Preds.
