We all wanted there to be one. We really did. Because we had a bunch of home games coming up. Because some of us were going to those games. Because we'd fallen back in the standings, and "home cooking" is what this team needed to get back in the race. But it just doesn't exist. Not this year. The Preds are 6-5-2 (6 wins, 7 losses) at home. Not good. You know who has a home-ice advantage? Minnesota is 11-3-2 at home. LA is 9-2-2. Tampa is 10-3-0. And those aren't even the elite teams like the Sharks, who are 10-1-2 at home. Maybe the guys need another long road trip to "bond" or something. Their 7-7-1 record away from Bridgestone is a point better than it is here, so maybe that's the answer.
