Take a trip back in time to Nashville's pro hockey scene of 50 years ago, thanks to new video posted to YouTube.
Long before the Predators came into existence, Nashville enjoyed a series of professional hockey teams, starting with the Eastern Hockey League's Dixie Flyers, who played in Nashville from 1962-1971. As Hockey Hillbilly noted in a FanPost recently, they are Music City's only Cup-winning hockey team, having won championships in 1966 & 1967.
