The Predators' enforcer can extend his stay with the Milwaukee Admirals, after other NHL teams decided to pass.

Darren Dreger brings word that Brian McGrattan can stay with the Milwaukee Admirals:

McGrattan joined the Predators after being picked up on waivers from Anaheim, back in October of 2011. He immediately made an impression on fans with his gusto for fighting and his interaction with the fans, whether it be motioning to the crowd during a bout, or sharing his off-ice thoughts via Twitter (@bigern10).

Under the new CBA, re-entry waivers would not be required to bring him back to Nashville if the need arises.

The Predators just released the following:

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that forward Brian McGrattan has cleared waivers and been assigned to Milwaukee (AHL).

McGrattan, 31 (9/2/81), went scoreless and posted four penalty minutes during a two-week conditioning stint with Milwaukee from Feb. 15-24. The Hamilton, Ont., native has appeared in two games for the Predators in 2012-13. A season ago, he was claimed on waivers from Anaheim on Oct. 11, 2011 and played 30 games, notched two assists and recording 61 penalty minutes.
