According to the NHL's media resource, the Nashville Predators have placed Paul Gaustad on Injured Reserve, where he joins Colin Wilson, Patric Hornqvist, and Hal Gill. Gaustad hasn't played since Tuesday night at Dallas, when he left the game with an upper body injury. Goose has been troubled by upper body issues often this season, missing ten games already.
There's a lot of Preds chatter on Twitter that Taylor Beck is on his way to join the Predators from Milwaukee, which may result in him making his NHL debut, so Gaustad's move to IR may be to clear out that roster spot. That move has not been made official, however.
